Justin Huffman is a software architect for FDA regulated industries at Honeywell during the week, and races fast cars on the weekends.  He has done well road racing, autocrossing, and drag racing, in cars ranging from 60 horsepower Formula Vees to 500+ horsepower Corvettes.

2005 First place FSCCA at SCCA National Championship Runoffs. Ran SCCA Nationals in FA with a spec formula car down by approximately 100 hp. 3rd at Summit Point National, 3rd at Nelson Ledges Memorial National, 2nd BeaveRun National, 3rd VIR National.

Autocrossing:
Running a well prepared, ex-CP Mustang in the Street Modified class. One win, one second, one 4th. Also ran one event in EM, finished 2nd, ahead of a car/driver that has trophied in EM at the Solo II National Championship.

2004 Too busy with insane work commitments to do much racing. Ran 4 SCCA Nationals, finished 3rd, 9th (fuel pump failed completely with 1 lap to go), 7th, 4th.

Autocrossing:
Brought the 92 Mustang out of retirement to run Street Modified. Gradually improved its preparation. One win, some seconds, some thirds.

2003 Ran one SCCA Pro race, finished 5th due to flat tire. Differential failure at the next event ended the Pro season due to long wait for replacement. Ran an EMRA race for fun- qualified on pole by 4 seconds.

Autocrossing:
Ran a nearly stock Mustang in the Street Modified class, usually finishing 3rd.

2002 Justin drove a Protoform P2 Formula Vee in 8 national races and 1 ProVee.  The results were very good- all top 10 finishes, three top 5, one top 3, and one pole.  This secured an invitation to the Valvoline Runoffs - the SCCA national championship - where Justin qualified 10th and finished 7th.  Racing with the lead pack, he got his first worldwide television exposure.

Autocrossing:
Ran a stock 1996 Corvette locally, winning 2 out of 3 events.  Ran a nearly stock Mustang at the 75-80 Fall Ford Spectacular, winning his class and taking fastest time of the day (FTD).

2001 Ran a very limited racing schedule.  Finished 7th at VIR ProVee race, 4th at VIR national, won VIR "March Memories" race, won a regional race at Summit Point.

Autocrossing:
Ran a stock 1996 Corvette locally, won nearly every event entered, and at one event set the fastest time of the day regardless of class (FTD).

2000 Drove a Protoform P2 Formula Vee and ran a partial Pro Vee series.  Won Valvoline ProVee Series Eastern Division Eagle One Championship.  Won the VIR "March Memories" race, the first race at the newly re-opened Virginia International Raceway, and the first race for Justin in the Protoform.

Autocrossing:
Ran a stock 1996 Corvette locally, won nearly every event entered.  Set FTD once in a different, nearly stock 1996 Corvette.

1999 Ran his first Pro Vee race at Summit Point, WV, in a 30 year old Zink.  Finished 11th and turned the fastest race lap. 
Finished in the trophies (5th or better) 3 out of 4 regional races, with the 4th being a dnf due to an electrical problem.

Finished in the trophies in 3 of 6 races completed in 1998.

Washington DC Region SCCA C-Prepared class champion
MWCSCC C-Prepared class champion
1997-1998 Tidewater Sports Car Club Winter Series C-Prepared class champion

1997

Qualifying race winner, Connellsville, PA 1997. Local television exposure.
Finished in the trophies in 3 of 8 races.

Virginia State Champion in C-Prepared

Drag Racing:
Won 2 Mustang Shootouts.

1996

Justin began racing a Zink Formula Vee.  Showing his talent from the beginning, he finished 4th in the MARRS series championship.  An older competitor shows him a picture of the Zink racing before Justin was born.

Autocrossing:
Virginia State Champion in C-Prepared

Drag Racing:
Upgraded the engine in his Mustang, and won 2 Mustang Shootouts.
Won the only Pro-Stick event he entered, beating high dollar drag race specials with his street car.

1995 Driving his nearly stock Mustang, Justin is "banned" by the Porsche club for making the Porsches look bad.  In October, Justin attends his first SCCA competition licensing school.

Drag Racing:
Won his first Mustang Shootout.
